QA Engineer – HRMS

We are looking for a QA Engineer with experience in HRMS (Human Resource Management System) to test our HRMS features and make sure they work correctly.
The QA Engineer will test existing and newly implemented HRMS features, find bugs and system issues, and report them clearly to the development team. The person should also understand HR processes and be able to suggest improvements and practical solutions to make the system easier and better for users.
Key Responsibilities
- Test all implemented HRMS features and functions.
- Find bugs, errors, missing functions, and usability issues.
- Check if the system works according to the business requirements.
- Test HRMS modules such as Employee Management, Attendance, Leave, Payroll, Recruitment, Performance, and other HR features.
- Prepare and execute test cases and test scenarios.
- Report issues clearly with steps, screenshots, and expected results.
- Re-test fixed issues to make sure they are working correctly.
- Check the complete workflow between different HRMS modules.
- Identify areas where the system or process can be improved.
- Suggest practical solutions and improvements for HRMS features.
- Work closely with developers, HR teams, and business users.
- Help improve the overall quality and user experience of the HRMS.
Requirements
- Experience working as a QA Engineer, Software Tester, or similar role.
- Good experience with HRMS or HR software.
- Good understanding of common HR processes and workflows.
- Ability to find and explain software issues clearly.
- Experience in functional testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Ability to create test cases and test scenarios.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to suggest system and process improvements.
- Good communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work with HR, technical, and business teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience testing Payroll, Attendance, Leave, Recruitment, Performance Management, or Employee Self-Service features.
- Experience with bug-tracking or project management tools such as Jira or similar tools.
- Basic knowledge of API testing and database testing is an advantage.
- Experience testing web HRMS applications is an advantage.
